It's Showtime!!!!

Ok everyone! Husband/ Daddy to be is here! I should be the blog updater for the remainder of this ordeal! If I suck at this please say so in the comment section and I'll try and do better!

I will be updating the blog like we were doing on Friday night where we just kept adding to this one so just keep checking the bottom of this blog for all the updates.

7:45pm- Robin the midwife just got here and she's setting up all of her equipment.

8:05pm- Robin just took Bianka's vitals and all the fun stuff!

8:15pm- Robin is trying to break her water right now! She thinks it's broken but there's not really and fluid coming out! She looks perplexed! Hmmmm!!!

8:20pm- OK we're still not sure about this whole water breaking thing. Robin thinks that maybe the baby's big head is in the way and that's why there's not too much fluid. So now Bianka and I are going to go for a quick walk. Robin says that between the water being broke and walking, it should move the contractions closer together. Right now they're at about 10 minutes apart. Our goal is two minutes apart. OK I'm off! It may be a while before my next update. Robin thinks about two hours.

8:55pm- Bianka's having some really really stong contractions right now. At this particular moment she's on her knees by the bed not looking too happy. I wish there was something I could do to ease her pain. I feel helpless. This sucks! How do I take her pain away?

9:05pm- It looks like her contractions are about 5 minutes apart right now. She's in bed now obviously in a good deal of pain. Other than the painful contractions she's doing well. She's still quite spirited and so far I'm pretty sure she still loves me. :)

9:08pm- Thanks for the support on the comments. I'm glad I have this blog because it will keep me from getting in the way. I'm just close enough to be there for her and just far enough away that she'd have to be a really good shot to hit me with anything! :)

9:15pm- We are moving along very rapidly! Yay! The contractions are now approximately 3 minutes apart and 2 minutes is our goal! The baby heartbeat is strong and everything looks perfect as this point. Keep your fingers crossed!

9:30pm- Contractions are 2 minutes apart. We're definately having a baby tonight. Bianka has moved on to all fours on the bed. She seems a bit more comfortable that way. Odds are slim that I'm going to be doing much more blogging until little Madeline is out. If things slow down I'll be back.

9:38pm- She's throwing up and making a lot of noise! I'm filling up the bath tub! It's almost here!!!!!!!!!!!

9:53pm- Bianka is in the tub in somewhat of a fetal position on her side. She's much more comfortable in there. She's making a good deal of grunting noises during contractions but other than that she's mostly quiet! Thanks for all the support everyone!

11:42pm- She's out at 11:30! She's beautiful! More details to follow!

11:50pm- I'm sooooo sorry everyone but she looks just like me (daddy)! Poor Maddie!!!

12:01am- Here's the first picture on the internet! This is Madeline Kate Sutton with Grandma! Vital Statistics are on the way!
12:15am- Here are the Statistics! Born at 11:30pm on November 14, 2007! 8 pounds 4 ounces! 21 inches l0ng!!! Definately a girl! She's got pretty blue eyes and blonde hair! Yay!
12:18am- Maddie is filling up her tummy right now! We'll have lots of pictures within the hour!

Just checking in. I presume no new posts for nearly two hours is good news. Sounds like the baby is just so happy in there, she's not interested in coming out! Both of you keep up the good work, stay in touch, love,

Congratulations!! I haven't seen Bianka in about 14 yrs and now through this blogging thing I feel like I am either a stalker or I really know all of her friends and husband now. Bianka and John, you are so lucky to have a great support system. And Congrats Bianka and John on being wonderful parents already. Getting pictures out like a good mommy and daddy.

More pics will be coming soon! That was the most amazing thing I have ever been witness to, other than giving birth to my daughters. I got to cut the umbilical cord (only cuz the men declined)! I was assigned to be flashlight monitor throughout the procedure. Midwife said I am hired!
